‘Announce haircut’ – Hull City fans react to their latest signing

In a tweet from the club’s official Twitter account, Hull City announced the signing of midfielder Jackson Irvine.

The 24-year-old put pen to paper on a three-year deal at the KCOM stadium with the option to extend it by a further year.

Irvine had been linked with Hull City for some time following a good debut season in the Championship with Burton Albion, which saw him make 42 league appearances and score ten times from the centre of midfield.

The Australian international has become Leonid Slutsky’s 11th signing this summer and joins just one day after the club completed the signing of Nouha Dicko from Wolves.

After the high-profile sale of Sam Clucas to Premier League club Swansea earlier on in the transfer window, Slutsky has been bringing in a host of midfielders to bolster that position in his squad.

So, what do Hull’s fans think about their latest acquisition?

FLW writer Adam Goacher has taken to Twitter to gauge the fans reaction to Jackson Irvine signing for their club…
