It’s been a slow start to the summer transfer window for Leeds United, with Marcelo Bielsa unable to make a major impact since his arrival at Elland Road.  

For a while now, Leeds have been working on a deal to bring Matej Vydra to Elland Road, however, latest reports from the Yorkshire Evening Post have confirmed that Leeds are cooling their interest.

Despite Leeds looking set to match Derby’s £11m valuation, Leeds have doubts, with Vydra’s wage demands rising.

According to the report, Leeds had been willing to pay the 26-year-old over £30-a-week, but his fresh demands have left a deal in limbo.
