Swansea City have had their fair share of wins at Wembley in the past, but there is one that will standout above the rest.

In 2013, the Swans were crowned EFL Cup Champions as they thrashed Bradford City 5-0 in the final of the competition at Wembley.

Goals from Michu and a brace from Nathan Dyer and Jonathan De Guzman saw Michael Laudrup's side run out convincing winners on the day.

Former Swansea man Angel Rangel took to Instagram to poke fun at QPR team-mate Nahki Wells in his latest throwback to a game that Wells will be keen to forget.

Wells spent three seasons with Bradford before moving to Huddersfield Town in 2014, where he enjoyed a number of years in the Championship.

Rangel left Swansea after the 2017/18 league campaign, before joining QPR, where he has become a regular for the Hoops.

Rangel and Wells are now playing together at QPR, and have looked impressive so far this season, as they mount a surprise promotion bid.

Mark Warburton's side are currently sat fifth in the Championship table, and will be hoping that they can continue their fine run of results this weekend when they take on West Brom.

The Verdict:

It's a result that Bradford fans won't want reminding of, that's for sure!

Swansea outplayed them on that day, and they fully deserved to win the EFL Cup. It's a game that will live long in the memory for Swansea's supporters.

Both Rangel and Wells will be hoping they can build on an impressive start to this year's campaign, as they emerge as surprise contenders for a top-six finish under Mark Warburton's guidance.
