Charlton Athletic will be aiming to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to six games tomorrow by securing a positive result in their showdown with Port Vale.

A second-half strike from Jesurun Rak-Sakyi rescued a point for the Addicks in their showdown with Burton Albion last weekend.

Currently 11th in League One, Charlton could potentially leapfrog Wycombe Wanderers and Exeter City in the standings if they defeat Darrell Clarke's side on Saturday.

However, a victory for Vale in front of their own supporters will result in them moving above the Addicks in the table.

Having witnessed his side's performance against Burton, it will be interesting to see whether Charlton boss Ben Garner makes any significant alterations to his starting eleven this weekend.

Here, we have decided to take a look at how Charlton could line up at Vale Park...

Having utilised the 4-4-2 formation against Burton, Ben Garner may opt to stick with this system for tomorrow's fixture.

The Addicks are set to be without Jojo Wollacott and Craig MacGillivray for this clash.

Wollacott is set to miss a considerable chunk of action after injuring his finger in the warm-up last weekend while MacGillivray is unavailable for selection as he suffered concussion against Burton Albion.

Having recalled Ashley Maynard-Brewer from his loan spell at Gillingham, Charlton are set to hand the goalkeeper his league debut against Vale.

Ryan Inniss and Sam Lavelle will be tasked with providing some defensive cover for Maynard-Brewer in the heart of defence.

Steven Sessegnon and Richard Chin meanwhile will occupy the full-back positions for the Addicks.

Tyreece Campbell could make way for Corey Blackett-Taylor while Rak-Sakyi is expected to feature in the other wide role.

Scott Fraser will be accompanied in central midfield by George Dobson who has yet to miss a league game this season.

Charlie Kirk will be brimming with confidence heading into Saturday's game after netting a brace against Burton.

The 24-year-old could line up in a two-striker formation alongside Chuks Aneke.

Aneke set up Rak-Sakyi's equaliser in this aforementioned fixture and has managed to find the back of the net on three occasions in eight games this season.

Yet to start a league game during the current campaign, the forward may finally be presented with an opportunity to lead the line from the outset by Garner tomorrow.

By producing a positive performance against Vale, Aneke could retain a place in the side for the foreseeable future.
