Bristol City will be looking to extend their unbeaten record in the Championship to 11 matches when they travel to face Luton Town at Kenilworth Road tomorrow.

Lee Johnson's side have won five league games this term to take them up to sixth in the Championship table, while they have now not suffered defeat since the opening-day loss to Leeds United.

Andreas Weimann has been tasked with leading the Robins' attacking line during the opening weeks of the season, with the former Derby having scored four goals in his 11 appearances since August.

Stoke loanee Benik Afobe was originally the focal point in Johnson's side, but his season-ending injury back in September has meant that Weimann has needed to step up to the mark in his absence.

The 28-year-old has delivered the goals in recent weeks with him scoring valuable efforts during City's recent draws with Preston and Bristol City, and Weimann has now

The Verdict

It looks likely that Weimann will once again lead Bristol City's frontline at Kenilworth Road, with Johnson remaining insistent on deploying two strikers during the Robins' matches this term.

The Bristol City boss was relying on Weimann, Famara Diedhiou and Antoine Semenyo to fill these striker roles, but the recent arrival of Rodri on a short-term deal will provide some much-needed depth.

However, Rodri's arrival does not look like it will put Weimann's place in the side at risk, as he has been a strong performer for Bristol City during the opening weeks of the season and is now getting himself in good goalscoring areas.

If the Robins are to maintain their success this term, Weimann will more than likely need to be among the goals.
