Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has posted a message on social media after a documentary about the club premiered last night.

Several Leeds players and their special guests attended the premiere of 'Take Us Home: Leeds United' - a six-part documentary series that tells the story of the club's remarkable first season under Marcelo Bielsa.

The documentary, which will be released on Amazon Prime Video tomorrow, offers a behind-the-scenes look at how the club is run under Radrizzani, but it will ultimately end in disappointment for Leeds fans, after the team suffered heartbreak in the play-offs.

Radrizzani - who completed his takeover of Leeds in 2017 - has posted a message on his personal Twitter, thanking everyone who helped make the documentary happen.

Leeds have made an encouraging start to their second season under Bielsa, after Radrizzani was able to persuade the head coach to remain in charge at Elland Road for at least another year.

The Whites have taken four points from their opening two games in the Championship and have booked their place in the second round of the EFL Cup.

The Verdict

This looks like it could be a very interesting and insightful documentary, although I'm sure Leeds fans will wish that it had a different ending.

However, Leeds were magnificent in the Championship last season and even though their campaign ultimately ended in disappointment, the team still made tremendous progress under Bielsa.

The players will know exactly what to expect from Bielsa this time around and I'm expecting Leeds to challenge for automatic promotion this season.

Leeds fans will be hoping that the players are able to learn from what happened in the play-offs at the end of last season and perhaps they will be able to documentary as extra motivation to make sure something similar does not happen again this term.
