Andrea Radrizzani has promised Leeds United legend Lucas Radebe that the club will write the next chapter of their history soon.

Leeds currently sit top of the Championship table and are looking to right the wrongs of last season, when Marcelo Bielsa’s side blew up in the automatic promotion race before crashing out of the play-offs.

Recently, Radebe has revealed he has been watching the documentary detailing Bielsa’s first season in Leeds, before ‘The Chief’ moved to thank Radrizzani for investing in the Yorkshire club.

On the back of receiving that message, Radrizzani responded to Radebe, promising that the Whites will write the next chapter in the club’s history soon:

Bielsa’s side are sitting nicely at the top of the Championship table, with a point lead over West Bromwich Albion in second.

More importantly, however, they hold a seven-point lead over Fulham, who are by far the biggest threat to the Championship’s top-two.

What happens to the remainder of the season remains up in the air, with plans put in place for the remaining nine games of the season to be played, but uncertainty surrounding that.

The Verdict

Radrizzani is a very passionate owner and he is desperate to deliver promotion to Leeds United.

By doing that, he would be delivering Premier League football for the first time since Radebe’s playing days, which underlines its significance.

Leeds are in a great position to do win promotion and there’s almost an expectancy that if the season continues, it’ll conclude with promotion.
