Sheffield United really have been brilliant so far this season and they're bound to be excited about getting back to playing next weekend.

The Blades have taken the division by storm this season and there can be no doubt that they are genuine contenders for promotion to the Premier League.

Chris Wilder has worked wonders with his squad with the likes of Leon Clarke playing out of his skin and the whole team looks pretty hard for many to try and stake a claim to start in at the moment.

Indeed, one man who looks pretty far off playing for the Blades at the moment is James Hanson with him struggling for minutes and confidence at the club.

Good at League One level, Hanson hasn't really had the chance to perform in the Championship this year and there's a good case to argue that it would be best if he moved on.

Whether that be on loan or permanently, is up for debate, but he is not playing for the Blades and doesn't look likely to either with at least four players in front of him in the striker pecking order.

That's pretty poor odds for any player trying to start as a forward and so perhaps taking a step back down into League One would do him good.

There's bound to be an abundance of clubs keen on getting him if he did move towards the Bramall Lane exit, whilst the Blades might be able to get a bit of money in if a permanent deal is sanctioned.
