Norwich can now start preparing for life in the Premier League with their promotion looking a foregone conclusion.

Daniel Farke's side could have sealed their fate on Easter Monday, but were held to a 2-2 draw by Stoke.

However, the Canaries are now six points clear of third-placed Leeds which means Farke can begin planning his summer transfer activity with the Premier League in mind.

It has emerged that Fulham forward Ryan Babel is on Norwich's shopping list, according to Turkish outlet, Milliyet.

The 32-year-old signed for the West Londoners on a six-month contract in January, but he couldn't prevent their Premier League relegation despite scoring four times for the Craven Cottage side.

He will now be available on a free transfer in the summer, as it looks unlikely that he will extend his stay with Scott Parker's side.

Therefore, the Dutch international can be signed on a very cheap deal. This will be an appealing prospect to Farke who has recently learned that he will only be granted a £20million budget to help navigate Norwich's top-flight return.

So, would Babel be a good signing for the Canaries?

We discuss...

George Harbey

"This would be a fantastic signing for Norwich City.

"Babel has impressive for Fulham in the Premier League this season, and the winger still has so much more to offer in England.

"He may be getting on a bit at the age of 32, but his experience will be invaluable in helping them stay up next year."

Toby Wilding "This would be a good signing for Norwich. "Babel has plenty of experience at the top level and has impressed in a struggling Fulham side since arriving at Craven Cottage in January. "You feel he could make a more significant contribution at Norwich were he to have a whole season in which to do so." Jacob Potter "This would be an excellent signing. "Babel has been a rare bright spark in recent weeks for Fulham and he's certainly capable of playing another season in the Premier League. "Norwich will need players with top-flight experience next season and Babel certainly fits that criteria perfectly."
