Chris Wilder could leave Sheffield United in the summer due to being frustrated with the current situation at the club.

It's been an excellent first season back in the Championship for the Blades as they challenged for the play-offs for most of the season before eventually falling short and finishing in 10th place.

The fact that Wilder was able to achieve this with a limited budget in comparison to the majority of the teams around them as well as a team that was mostly made up of League One players is testament to his ability. However, the legal disagreements at the club are already starting to impact planning for next season.

This inability to plan in the long-term is starting to annoy Wilder with other clubs such as Sunderland trying to take advantage of the situation. Letting Wilder go would be a huge mistake for the club especially seen as he is a boyhood fan of the club.
