Derby County came from two goals down to pick up a crucial point at Reading yesterday.

Wayne Rooney’s side have shown real character all season after they were hit with a 21-point deduction, and three successive victories going into this fixture had given hope the Rams could pull off the unlikeliest of escapes.

However, two goals from Junior Hoilett looked to have condemned Derby to defeat, before Colin Kazim-Richards pulled one back in the 86th minute.

And, the visitors would salvage a point in stoppage time, thanks to a remarkable Curtis Davies header. The centre-back had been sent up top to provide an additional threat and he connected superbly from Nathan Bryne’s cross to help Derby to a point.
