‘An absolute rock’ – These Sheffield United fans were blown away with this man’s showing against QPR

Sheffield United propelled themselves into the automatic promotion race with an impressive 1-0 win over QPR yesterday.

The Blades were solid throughout and took the three points from the game thanks to a 10th goal of the season from in-form striker David McGoldrick.

Chris Wilder’s men are now firmly being considered for promotion, and key to their success has been the form and leadership of big money summer signing John Egan, who was once again in superb form in the game against the R’s yesterday.

And Egan took to social media following the game to show his own delight at another three points.

Egan has become a key man for the Blades since joining from Brentford in the summer and has gone on to become a firm fan favourite too with the Bramall Lane faithful.
