A number of QPR supporters have been reacting to the performance of Faysal Battache following the Rs’ penalty shootout win against Leyton Orient in the League Cup on Wednesday.

Mark Warburton rang the changes for QPR as he aimed to freshen up the side and offer some valuable game time to some players that did not feature in the Rs’ opening Championship game against Millwall on Saturday.

That meant that a chance was handed to Battache to come into the side and look to lay down a marker over the quality he can bring to the table for QPR if he is handed more chances to impress by Warburton.

The 21-year-old certainly managed to do that and he looked a player that has a lot of maturity for his age and was very composed on the ball and helped the Rs take a strong grip of the game during the opening 45 minutes in particular at Brisbane Road.

In total, Battache managed to have 89 touches of the ball and he maintained a passing accuracy of 83%, while also managing to make one assist, one key pass and also one tackle.

However, there is still room for him to improve with Battache having also lost possession 16 times during the 83 minutes he was on the field.

Many QPR supporters though were very impressed with the quality that the 21-year-old was able to show against Leyton Orient with them believing he could have a bright future with the club.
