With new man Michael Beale now in charge, QPR will be looking to get off to a good start as they kick off their season against Blackburn Rovers this weekend.

Since coming into the club, the new manager has made a number of signings to strengthen his side in the hope that they will be able to build upon last season's 11th place finish and push for a promotion spot.

That being said, it's a long season ahead but whilst the boss knows that, he will be keen to start on the right foot.

With that in mind, here we take a look at how Rangers may line up for Saturday's clash.

Here we see Seny Dieng starting in goal. The 27-year-old made 28 league appearances for his side last season and will be looking to build upon his nine clean sheets.

We then have a back four of Kenneth Paul, Rob Dickie, Jake Clarke-Salter and Osman Kakay. Dickie was a key member of the Rangers defence last season whilst Kakay played just 13 games. However, with a lack of options, he finds himself starting the season.

New recruit Paal goes straight into the side as does loanee Clarke-Salter who will be looking to impress Rangers fans as much as he did at Coventry last season.

In front of the defence we have captain Stefan Johansen alongside Luke Amos. Both players were regular fixtures in the side last season and will be hoping to build upon their midfield relationship.

Further forward we then have Ilias Chair and Taylor Richards. Chair managed to bag nine goals for his side last term and will be looking to make that double figures this time round. Meanwhile, Richards has come in on loan from Brighton and will be looking to make an impact.

Up front we then have Tyler Roberts and Lyndon Dykes. Roberts is another new addition to the side joining on loan from Leeds United but the player, who already has Premier League appearances to his name, will be hoping to get off to a good start. Meanwhile Dykes will be looking to push on and beat his eight league goals of last season.

Beale is hopeful that Chris Willock will be fit enough for action this weekend but given his lengthy period out with injury, the manager may be more cautious rather than rushing him back to start.
