Coventry City are back in action tonight as they take on MK Dons in the EFL Trophy.
As is the case for the vast majority in the competition, it’s fair to say that this tournament isn’t high on the list of priorities for boss Mark Robins, who will already have an eye on the weekend game with Ipswich in the race for promotion.
However, the clash against Russell Martin’s side this evening got a lot more interesting for Sky Blues fans after the team news was announced.
TEAM NEWS: Jamie Allen makes his first start for the Sky Blues tonight in the @LeasingcomTrphy.

Firstly, there was the extremely positive news that Jamie Allen would be making a first stat since arriving from Burton Albion in the summer.
And, exciting winger Jodi Jones is involved with the squad for the first time in over 12 months after terrible luck with injuries over the past few years.
Of course, patience will be required for the pair but it’s fair to say the update really excited the fans.
Here we look at some of the comments from Twitter…
