Plenty of Ipswich Town fans have taken to Twitter to react to Tyrone Mings' display for England against Bulgaria.

The defender, who currently plays for Aston Villa, enjoyed a fruitful three-year spell at Portman Road with the Tractor Boys before joining AFC Bournemouth in 2015.

Having helped Villa secure promotion to the Premier League earlier this year whilst on loan at Villa Park, Mings made a permanent switch to the West Midlands for a fee thought to be in the region of £20m.

After a number of impressive performances for Villa in the top-flight this season, Mings earned his first senior cap for England in their 6-0 victory over Bulgaria last night.

The clash was overshadowed by racist chanting from a section of the Bulgaria fans towards Mings and his Three Lions team-mate Raheem Sterling in the first-half which led to the action being halted twice.

Following the game, plenty of Ipswich fans lauded the defender on Twitter for his performance at the Vasil Levski Stadium.

Here are some of the best responses from the club's supporters...

Mings will be aiming to help England secure their qualification for Euro 2020 when they face Montenegro at Wembley Stadium on November 14th.
