Nottingham Forest have confirmed via their official website that Joe Worrall has signed a new deal at the City Ground.
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year extension at the City Ground, securing his future and keeping him at the club until 2024.
Worrall has been a pivotal player in Forest’s bid for promotion to the Premier League this season, going from strength to strength under Sabri Lamouchi.
The defender – who spent the whole of last season on loan at Rangers – has made 34 appearances in all competitions this season, producing a series of solid performances at the back.
Can you get full marks on this Forest quiz?
He has formed a solid partnership and understanding with Tobias Figueiredo, in a defence that boasts one of the best record in the Championship having conceded only 31 goals so far.
