Nerves will be beginning to build ahead of tonight’s huge League One play-off showdown between Portsmouth and Sunderland with a place at Wembley on the line.
Sunderland take a 1-0 lead into the second-leg at Fratton Park after a solid performance at the Stadium of Light, with Chris Maguire’s brilliant volley proving the difference.
They even survived a period with ten men after Alim Ozturk was shown a straight red card minutes after the goal for fouling Olly Hawkins when he was adjudged to have been through on goal.
However, that decision has since been overruled making him available for selection tonight and the Black Cats’ owner Stewart Donald has added another bonus.
Any @SunderlandAFC fans passing @EastleighFC to go to the game – please stop in and have a drink to relax the nerves. Club are on standby as a couple of supporters coaches are stopping by. Chairmans turn to get you all a beer ????⚪️????⚪️

Taking to Twitter on the morning of the game, he offered to pay for the drinks of any Sunderland fans if they stopped in at the club he used to own, Eastleigh, on the way.
Donald has been a popular figure since he arrived last summer and this has done nothing to change the fans opinions…
Now there's civic leadership
