Nottingham Forest supporters have been offering their responses to a debate on how they would describe former striker Simon Cox's time at the City Ground, with many pointing out one frustrating trait in particular.

Cox arrived at the City Ground from West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2012 signing a three-year deal at the club, having scored ten goals in 65 appearances for the Baggies, and the striker featured heavily for Nottingham Forest in his first season at the club, getting off to a flying start with two goals and two assists in his first four appearances for the club, before tailing off and finishing the year with five league goals in 39 appearances.

One of the striker's most memorable moments for the Reds came in a 2-2 draw against Birmingham City in September 2012, with Cox coming off the bench with Forest 2-0 down and producing a spectacular finish controlling a long pass and then lobbing the ball over Jack Butland to get his side back in the game, before Dan Harding managed to score the equaliser.

However, that was to prove to be one of the few standout moments for Cox at Nottingham Forest, who often frustrated Reds' supporters with his inability to stay on side at times, and the forward managed to score eight league goals in his final season at the club in 2013/14, before he was allowed to leave and join Reading in the summer of 2014.

Here then, we take a look at what Nottingham Forest fans have had to say about Cox's time at the club on social media...
