Dean Smith got off to the perfect start as Aston Villa manager on Saturday afternoon.

The new Villa boss oversaw a 1-0 win against Swansea City courtesy of Tammy Abraham’s eighth-minute header.

After securing their first win in five matches, the result lifted the club to 13th in the table.

One goal was enough for the points, but it was at the other end where Villa also showed their capabilities.

Neil Taylor made a sensational block on the line to deny Connor Roberts what looked to be a certain goal for the Swans.

The left-back was making just his sixth appearance for the Championship side, and his fourth start - a first one under new boss Smith - and was impressive throughout.

And his last-ditch defensive efforts were just as significant as Abraham’s header in securing the three points.

With that said, here’s how the Aston Villa supporters reacted to the video fo Taylor’s vital block in the win over Swansea City last Saturday.
