Birmingham City suffered a humiliating defeat in the Sky Bet Championship last night, with Brentford plunging Steve Cotterill’s side into further relegation trouble.

Brentford piled the pressure on Cotterill at Griffin Park, with the Bees recording a 5-0 victory over Birmingham, who are now narrowly placed above the Championship’s relegation zone heading into the final 13 fixtures of the season.
