This Saturday sees Brentford make the long journey up to Yorkshire to face Hull City, with the Bees looking to bounce back from their midweek defeat against Nottingham Forest.

Ahead of the important clash between the sides, Thomas Frank faced the press on Thursday afternoon, discussing a selection of topics.

The main talking point on the agenda was the loss to Forest, and Frank discussed the good things his side did, as well as the things he wants the team to improve on.

"When I watched the game back there were quite a few good bits which I showed to the players [on Thursday]. It was a very tight game between two sides fighting in the top six," he said.

"We need to be more cool, more patient, and stick to the plan. When we are 1-0 down we need to work harder and play better; that is what we are working on."

The Bees boss also had a few words to say on Brentford's upcoming opponents, Hull City, who took a point at Griffin Park earlier this season.

"They are one of the most interesting teams going forward, all the stats show that. They are able to create chances especially on the counter," the Dane added.

"We need to continue to defend very well as we have done and see if we can hit them on the counter sometimes."

Brentford have conceded the fewest goals in the division this season, with 22 from their 29 league games played.

Lastly, Thomas Frank discussed transfers ahead of tonight's 11pm deadline. He said that he does not anticipate any first-team players leaving the club.

"We wanted to keep our top players and we will do. That is 100 per cent sure."

With regards to incomings, the Brentford Head Coach kept tight-lipped, but refused to rule out bringing some players in.

"We know that the transfer window is crazy, especially going into Deadline Day so lets see if something happens."
