This Sunday sees Millwall welcome top-of-the-table West Bromwich Albion to The Den as the Lions look to end their run of two games without a win in the Sky Bet Championship.

Ahead of the big game, Gary Rowett spoke to the press about a selection of different topics.

The Millwall boss had his say on the Lions' upcoming opponents, discussing West Brom's recent dip in form. The Baggies have lost two of their last four league games.

Rowett wants his players to make the most of West Brom's recent indifferent spell to give themselves the best chance of getting a result.

"It's up to us to see if we can continue that. We’re respectful of how good they are, but we’re at home and have a good record against the top six," Rowett told News at Den.

"It’s up to us to make it a really difficult afternoon for them, but if we don’t play well then I’m sure they can do exactly the same to us.”

He also had a word to say about his opposite number, Slaven Bilic.

"Slaven’s come in and done a really good job. I played against him before but don’t know him that well. You can see he’s really respected by the players. He’s got huge experience in the Premier League and internationally with Croatia when he played."

Rowett also talked about new signing Mason Bennett, and listed the attacking attributes that the 23-year-old will bring to the team.

QUIZ: Can you name every Millwall player's shirt number?

“He’s a dangerous player, you only have to watch clips of him at this best last season. In the play-off final he was very, very good as a 9. He’s just different to what we’ve got."

Finally, Rowett said that the club have already started to plan for the upcoming summer transfer window.

“I think you always have a plan, you always work a window ahead," he said.

“Sometimes three months is a long time in football, it could mean that we change our mind slightly on which way we go."
