Swansea City travel to Ewood Park tomorrow for a clash with fellow play-off chasers Blackburn Rovers.

Steve Cooper's side sit five points back from the top six in ninth but suffered a frustrating blow in midweek as they slipped to a very late defeat to Fulham, with Aleksander Mitrovic grabbing a 95th-minute winner.

They now travel to the North West to face a Blackburn side that are one point and one place above the Swans.

Honours were even at the reverse fixture at the Liberty Stadium but it was an exciting clash with goals from Andre Ayew and Danny Graham, and red cards for both Tom Carroll and Bradley Dack.

It looks like it could be a pivotal clash in the race for the top six and with that in mind, Cooper will want as many of his squad available to him as possible.

One man they will definitely be without is Mike van der Hoorn as the club announced earlier this week that the defender will miss the rest of the season after having surgery on a knee issue.

Winger Wayne Routledge will also be absent due to a knee problem, while an ankle injury means George Byers has been ruled out of the 2019/20 campaign.

However, Cooper hopes to have playmaker Bersant Celina available for the trip to Ewood Park.

The Kosovan missed the game against Fulham as he was struggling with a sickness bug but will be assessed fully today.

A victory for the Swans could give their play-off push a huge boost and, if results elsewhere go their way, may see them move within two points of the top six.
