Swansea City travel to Hull City tonight as they attempt to get closer to the play-off spots by the end of the weekend.

Steve Cooper will have to make do with a few injuries within the camp as he decides on a team that will be strong enough to get the three points away to the Tigers.

Central midfielder George Byers will be one casualty that misses the trip up north.

He limped off in the 3-2 defeat to Derby County last Saturday and has since been ruled out for the remainder of the season because of a high ankle sprain.

Byers has featured 33 times and scored five goals this campaign as he has established himself within the starting XI.

He is due to make a return to the grass at the start of next week for the last stages of rehab.

The 27-year-old hasn't featured since the 2nd January after picking up a recurrence of his knee injury.

The Dutch defender has played 25 games this season and scored once.

Jordan Garrick continues his return to full fitness after being out since November because of a hamstring injury.

He has recently featured twice for the under-23s and is set to play one more game for them across the next week as manager Steve Cooper keeps an eye on his injury.

The winger has been used seven times this season and scored one goal as he has got his first experience of senior football.
