A hectic week of football is rounded off for Leeds United tomorrow when they face Cardiff City at Elland Road.

Leeds have beaten Huddersfield Town and Hull City in the past week, extending their winning run to seven games to move back to the top of the Championship table.

And, their third game this week pitches them up against Cardiff and Neil Harris, with Leeds having a good opportunity at Elland Road to add to their 46 points.

It is a tough fixture for Leeds to deal with, though. Cardiff are a little bit of a bogey side and given they dropped out of the Premier League last season, they’ve got quality despite their position lingering outside the play-offs.

Harris has confirmed that Cardiff have their injury problems, but how is the Leeds squad shaping up?

Here, we take a look at the Elland Road treatment room…

Liam Cooper

Cooper is the place to start, with Leeds’ captain missing the wins over Huddersfield Town and Hull City with a slight calf strain.

Bielsa has confirmed that Cooper is making good progress, but he will not take risks with the centre-back, presumably with Fulham on December 21 in mind.

Gaetano Berardi has stepped in and done well, with Bielsa surely confident he can deal with the physical threat of Cardiff.

Adam Forshaw

Forshaw hasn’t started a league fixture since late August, with his last outing off the bench against Charlton Athletic in September.

It’s a niggling hip injury that’s keeping him on the sidelines and he’s not available to face Cardiff this weekend.

He shared this update on Instagram earlier in the week:

Jamie Shackleton

Shackleton has suffered setback after setback since October, which has come either side of a cameo appearance in the win over Reading.

He’s got a muscular problem, and like Forshaw, isn’t available for this weekend.

Tyler Roberts

Roberts was substituted after 35 minutes in that win over Reading, but like Shackleton, he hasn’t been seen since that evening at the Madejski Stadium.

It’s a hamstring problem for Roberts, with this weekend not an opportunity for him to come back into the squad.
