West Bromwich Albion will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Championship on Monday when they face Stoke City at the Hawthorns.

Following an impressive start to the 2019/20 campaign, the Baggies have experienced somewhat of a dip in form in recent weeks.

Having failed to secure victory in their last five league games, West Brom's lead over third-place Brentford has been cut to seven points.

Given that automatic promotion is on the agenda for the Baggies this season, it is imperative that they get back on track against Stoke.

Although West Brom will enter Monday's showdown with the Potters as favourites, they cannot afford to underestimate their opponents who have improved considerably since appointing Michael O'Neill as their manager in November.

Here, we take a look at the latest injury news ahead of the Baggies' Championship outing...

Nathan Ferguson

Having missed the last three games due to an issue with his knee, Nathan Ferguson could be in line to make his return to action against the Potters.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference (as cited by the Birmingham Mail) about the defender, West Brom manager Slaven Bilic said: "Nathan will be fit."

The Croatian later added: "He's back in full training, he's a naturally fit player anyway, he's sharp and has a good physicality.

"It's a good boost for us."

Kieran Gibbs

Having limped off during West Brom's clash with Leeds United earlier this month, Kieran Gibbs is now set for a prolonged period on the sidelines due to a serious hamstring injury.

With the defender unavailable for the Baggies' meeting with Stoke, it will be intriguing to see if Bilic opts to give Ferguson the nod over Conor Townsend who has made 14 appearances in all competitions this season.

Rekeem Harper

When Rekeem Harper decided to commit his future to West Brom last summer by signing a three-year deal with the club, he would have been aiming to take the Championship by storm this season.

However, this unfortunately hasn't been the case for the midfielder who has been forced to watch on from the sidelines for the majority of the campaign due to the form illustrated by Romaine Sawyers and Jake Livermore.

Although he was able to illustrate some real signs of promise against Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup at the start of January, Harper is set to miss out this weekend due to a sore foot.

Jack Fitzwater

A product of West Brom's youth academy, Jack Fitzwater has struggled to make any inroads on Bilic's starting eleven in recent months.

Limited to just one senior appearance this season, the defender has been utilised primarily by the Baggies as part of their Under-23 set-up.

Whilst Fitzwater was unlikely to feature against Stoke due to the presence of Semi Ajayi and Kyle Bartley, Bilic has confirmed that he will miss the clash anyway as a result of a knock.
