Tranmere Rovers have given themselves a fighting chance of League One survival after back-to-back wins against Shrewsbury Town and Accrington Stanley.

Micky Mellon's side beat Accrington Stanley 2-1 in their last outing as they picked up a much-needed three points to keep the pressure on their relegation rivals.

The Whites still occupy a spot in the League One relegation zone though, and are six points adrift of safety with just ten league games remaining in this year's campaign.

They'll know that they have to continue to pick up wins as they look to retain their status as a League One club, but it's a tough game next up for Mellon's men.

Tranmere travel to Bloomfield Road to take on Blackpool, who picked up an impressive point against Joey Barton's Fleetwood Town at the weekend.

The Tangerines are now managed by former Liverpool under 23's coach Neil Critchley, and he'll be keen to pickup his first win in charge of the League One outfit.

We look at Tranmere's current injury list heading into the game against Blackpool.

Neil Danns

Danns picked up a knock against Accrington Stanley at the weekend, and is being assessed ahead of the trip to Bloomfield Road on Tuesday evening.

The experienced midfielder has made 22 appearances in total for Micky Mellon's side, and he'll be hoping that he can be deemed fit enough to play his part against the Tangerines.

Morgan Feeney

Feeney remains sidelined with a hamstring injury that he picked up in the closing stages of their 2-0 defeat to relegation rivals Bolton Wanderers.

Tranmere have revealed that Feeney is currently back with his parent club Everton, and will be hoping that he can return to action at the earliest of opportunities.

He'll be keen to get back playing as soon as possible, as he looks to showcase his talent out on loan, as well as playing his part in Tranmere's survival bid in League One.
