Swansea City host Blackburn Rovers in the Championship tomorrow, as Steve Cooper’s men aim to get back to winning ways and progress up the table instead of being stuck in their current rut.

The Swans have struggled for form of late and are without a win in the past five games, instead sliding down the table at a rapid rate.

Cooper has failed to turn their form around, and he will continue to make do without two of Swansea’s squad players, who have both been ruled out of the game through injury, reports WalesOnline.

Winger Wayne Routledge is one of the absentees, who will miss the game because of a calf injury that has kept him on the sidelines since the end of November.

The 34-year-old has been a key player since signing for the south Wales club in 2011, and has gone on to make ten appearances under Cooper in all competitions throughout the current campaign, netting two goals along the way.

Which manager left the club by mutual consent before the season started?

Left-back Declan John is the other absentee for the Swans, who has missed the last two months of football with a hamstring injury.

The 24-year-old signed for the club in 2018 from Rangers and has struggled to make a real impact at The Liberty Stadium, instead only appearing three times in the League Cup this season under Cooper.

The Welsh international has had a promising career so far, however his move to Swansea so far has been a disaster amid the injury struggles that he has faced while at the Championship club.
