Sunderland face what is arguably their most important game of the season as they prepare to face Coventry City on Sunday.

A 1-1 draw with Fleetwood Town on Tuesday night made it five games without defeat for the Black Cats as they strengthened their quest for an automatic promotion spot.

Phil Parkinson's side are currently fourth in League One but could plausibly find themselves in League One's top two if they were to get a good result this weekend.

The Sky Blues currently hold second place in the league meaning that Sunday's encounter is a classic promotion six-pointer.

Parkinson will be hoping to name the strongest side possible, but has a couple of injury concerns to contend with.

Here's the latest injury news from the Stadium Of Light.

Charlie Wyke

The striker is a doubt for the trip to Coventry City with a back injury.

Wyke lasted for the duration of the clash with Fleetwood Town but is going to be monitored ahead of Sunday's clash.

Lynden Gooch

The winger is also listed as doubtful with a groin injury.

Gooch also played the whole match against Fleetwood Town but won't be risked against the Sky Blues if his strain has not eased.

Can you name every Sunderland player's shirt number this season?

Bailey Wright

One man who will miss the Coventry City clash is Bailey Wright.

The Bristol City loan star is expected to miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
