Sheffield Wednesday News
All the latest Sheffield Wednesday team news pre-Swansea, what will the Owls XI look like tomorrow?

Sheffield Wednesday are looking to put further distance between themselves and the Championship relegation zone this weekend when they take on high-flying Swansea City.
A midweek win over Wycombe Wanderers moved the Owls out of the bottom three, but building on that and stringing together a series of wins will be what it takes to pull the Yorkshire side out of trouble.
That’s easier said than done, though, with Swansea the visitors at Hillsborough this weekend. Steve Cooper’s side are pushing for automatic promotion and will see Wednesday as a very presentable opportunity.

Neil Thompson has a couple of injury issues to contend with too against the Swans, but he also does have the opportunity to name an unchanged side if he wishes.
Joost van Aken looks set to be unavailable for a couple of weeks after rolling his ankle in an under-23 fixture, whilst Moses Odubajo will not be able to offer defensive cover due to a hamstring tear.
Moving into the midfield, there is also a problem with Massimo Luongo, although Thompson has revealed (Yorkshire Live) that he’s progressing well: “Massimo is coming along nicely but might be another week or two. We hope it’s not as bad as we thought.”
There is doubt over Andre Green this weekend due to a sore Achilles, but that problem for the winger isn’t long-term.
There’s also better news of Jack Marriott, who has been training with the first-team this week.
Predicted SWFC XI: Westwood; Harris, Lees, Dunkley, Urhoghide, Reach; Shaw, Hutchinson, Bannan; Paterson, Rhodes.
