Reading will be desperate to take all three points when they visit Yorkshire to take on Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship this weekend.

The Royals have not won any of their last eight league matches, with the New Year's Day victory over Fulham their last three-point haul - a win which saw manager Mark Bowen rewarded with a new contract at the club.

Wednesday night saw them throw away a one-goal advantage all too easily against promotion favourites West Brom at The Madejski, a result which led to plenty of frustration amongst the fans.

QUIZ: Can you remember the scores from Reading’s first 12 games of this season?

However, their weekend opponents Wednesday are not in the best of form themselves, winning just one of their previous nine matches in the second-tier.

So, what are Bowen's options looking like for the clash? What injuries is he going to have to contend with?

Five long-term concerns will limit his choices at Hillsborough with Lucas Joao remaining sidelined with a hamstring issue, Matt Miazga struggling with his ankle and Lucas Boye out with a hernia.

Chris Gunter and Tom McIntyre are both also expected to miss out although January signing Ayub Masika could make the bench.

Wednesday night saw Andy Yiadom make his long-awaited return from injury on the right-hand side of the defence and he will most likely start again on Saturday, although Bowen may be wary of over stretching him too early.

This is a big match for both sides so expect both sides to be going for it in order to turn their respective form around.
