Queens Park Rangers travel to Birmingham City in the Championship tonight, as Mark Warburton's side look for back-to-back wins for the first time since October.

A 2-0 win at home to Preston North End last weekend ended a run of seven games without a win for QPR, and saw them keep their first clean sheet of the season.

It's eased a lot of growing pressure on both Warburton and the players but they face another uphill task at St Andrew's tonight, against a Birmingham side level on points with QPR and unbeaten in four Championship outings.

QPR will be without two first-team players for tonight's fixture: Yoann Barbet and Liam Kelly.

Barbet has now missed the last seven games for QPR having picked up an injury in his side's 2-2 draw with Reading in October but is thought to be closing in on a return to action.

Kelly meanwhile has missed the last five for the R's. The Scot had worked his way into the starting line-up but has been absent since the start of last month with an unknown injury, though it's not thought to be long-term.

A win for QPR could see them go as high as 8th-place tonight, depending on other results. The table remains tight in areas and a good run of fixtures can throw any team into contention.

Birmingham is a tough place to go but given QPR's decent record on the road, Warburton could leave St Andrew's a happy man tonight.
