Queens Park Rangers host Derby County in the Championship tonight and both go into the game in decent form.

QPR could leapfrog 13th-place Derby with a win tonight and go as high 12th, after a three-game unbeaten run has quashed earlier fears of relegation for Mark Warburton, who will have a fully-fit squad to select from tonight.

They'd hit some abject form shortly after the New Year and couldn't find a win or a goal, but they've picked up decent points on the road at both Swansea and Forest this month, with a fine comeback win over Stoke in between.

Derby have also come good of late, or since Wayne Rooney came into his new player/coach role. They've lost just one of their last six in all competitions, drawing their last two at home to Huddersfield and Fulham.

QPR have been relatively lucky with injuries this season. Yoann Barbet was the long-term casualty having missed nearly four months with a muscle injury, but he's since come back into the side and proved his worth.

Barbet will likely start in the heart of the defence tonight alongside Grant Hall, who himself has been plagued with injuries over the past few seasons, but this time round has enjoyed his best spell in the team since his debut 2015/16 season at the club.

Tonight's game will be as tough as any, but the incentives are there for QPR to win and progress up the table.
