Kenny Jackett's Portsmouth side are back in League One action for the second time in four days this evening as they take on Rochdale at Fratton Park.

Pompey will be keen to make it two home wins in a week, following on from the side's 3-1 success over MK Dons on Tuesday night.

That result took Pompey back into the play-off places, and Jackett's side now have a chance to consolidate on their league position against a Rochdale team fighting relegation.

The Dale are on a poor run of form in the league - they have won just once in their last seven games.

Pompey will also be buoyed by the fact that they have lost once to Rochdale in their history, a 3-0 defeat back in 2014 when the sides competed in League Two.

Ahead of the big game, we keep you up to date with all of the latest Portsmouth injury news.

Speaking to the club website, Jackett said that Ellis Harrison should be available for selection after recovering from a dead leg.

"We're hoping to have Ellis available. He was out there [on Thursday] and is 100 per cent fit," the Portsmouth boss said.

The striker sustained the problem during Pompey's win over Exeter City in the Leasing.com trophy semi-final.

He was in line to start last weekend against Fleetwood Town but was pulled out of the warm-up before the game as a precaution.

Despite also missing out on the win over MK Dons on Tuesday night, Jackett is confident that Harrison will play a part against Rochdale.

"We're not expecting any more problems for him and nobody else should be missing from the squad who faced MK Dons," he said.

"We're pleased to have so many players available through this busy period and we need everyone ready."

Bryn Morris remains the only long-term absentee for Portsmouth.
