Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon, Kenny Jackett discussed the fitness of Andy Cannon and Ellis Harrison.

The former has missed Portsmouth’s last four games, after sustaining a glute injury in the win against Sunderland at the start of the month.

Harrison, meanwhile, had to come off against Exeter with a dead leg, and the Pompey boss will assess the pair to establish if they can feature. So far, things are looking positive.

“I think that, as things stand, both will be okay for the weekend and there are no other worries,” the Portsmouth manager said.

“We should otherwise be selecting from the same group that we had for the Exeter match earlier in the week.”

Bryn Morris is the only long-term absentee for Pompey.
