Kenny Jackett is set to have the luxury of picking from an almost fully fit squad this weekend as the club plays host to fellow League One play-off hopefuls Sunderland at Fratton Park on Saturday.

The only injury issue of any note for the former Millwall boss is that of Bryn Morris, with the utility man currently sidelined by a groin injury for the south coast club.

Portsmouth will be looking to pick up their fourth win in six league games this weekend as they seek to leapfrog Coventry City in sixth place on Saturday.

David Norris is best known for his goal against Southampton in the south coast derby, but what is the ex-midfielder up to now?

The Fratton Park outfit will be looking to make it 35 wins against Sunderland in the head to head stakes, with the League One side also boasting a recent victory over their visitors in last season’s EFL Trophy Final.

Sunderland meanwhile will also be looking to take all three points against their hosts, with the Black Cats bidding to make it six unbeaten league games in a row.

Meanwhile, both clubs have been active in the transfer window as the hours tick down towards the transfer deadline.

Pompey waved goodbye to Leon Maloney yesterday as he completed a move to Dutch side FC Volendam, whilst Sunderland are seeking to hold onto Will Grigg as they seek to ward off late interest from league rivals Oxford United who are said to be keen on a move for the Northern Irishman.

In terms of incomings at Fratton Park, there is unlikely to be any new developments with the League One club seemingly ruling out any further signings after bringing in Steve Seddon, Reeco Hackett-Fairchild and Cameron McGeehan from Birmingham, Barnsley and Bromley respectively.
