Brandon Haunstrup returned to the team on Tuesday following a spell on the sidelines with torn meniscus in his knee, and should be available once again against Barnsley.

Saturday's game is likely to come too soon for Ross McCrorie, who has returned to first-team training after recovering from a hamstring problem.

"Common sense would say it’s next Tuesday that he’ll be looking at," Jackett told the club website.

Jack Whatmough is likely not to be risked, after playing the full ninety minutes for Portsmouth on Tuesday night on his comeback from injury.

Lee Brown will also definitely miss out, as he continues his recovery from an Achilles injury. A February return is likely for the left-sided defender.

Cameron McGeehan will also be unavailable against his parent club.
