Plymouth Argyle will be looking to move back to the top of League One when they take on Accrington Stanley this afternoon.

Ryan Lowe's men have been outstanding this season, losing just once in 16 games, and with leaders Wigan not in action due to the international break, they can take advantage.

However, it's not going to be easy for the Pilgrims, as they take on Accrington without two regular players.

Defender Brendan Galloway is away with Zimbabwe, where he played the full 90 minutes as they lost to South Africa on Thursday, whilst forward Luke Jephcott played, and scored, for Wales U21 side in a 7-0 hammering over Gibraltar last night.

Losing the pair will be a blow for Lowe as they have both been key performers in helping the Green Army to an automatic promotion spot, but the boss will hope that others can step up.

Macaulay Gillesphey is likely to come into the back three for the trip up north, whilst Jordan Garrick could be given a start in place of Jephcott.

Pleasingly for Plymouth, there are no fresh injury concerns for the game, so Lowe is expected to keep faith with the players who have done so well for him in the opening months of the campaign.

Overall, the two notable absences mean this will be a real test of Plymouth's promotion credentials but they will still fancy their chances against an Accrington side that are sitting in mid-table.
