Millwall will be looking to bounce back from their 2-0 home defeat to Luton Town at the weekend by picking up a positive result away at Sheffield United tomorrow night.

The clash at Bramall Lane presents another tough task for Gary Rowett's men who will no doubt still be smarting after a Harry Cornick brace put them to the sword on Saturday at the Den.

It was a match in which the Lions passed up far too many opportunities to score and as a result they were duly punished in both halves by the deadly Cornick and his Luton teammates.

The challenge now for the South Londoners will be to achieve a somewhat unlikely result away to a Blades side who picked up a confidence boosting win over Stoke City on the weekend.

As for team news, Millwall could be without defender Murray Wallace, after the centre back had to be withdrawn from action in the second half against the Hatters due to sustaining concussion.

Meanwhile the likes of Mason Bennett, Connor Mahoney and Scott Malone may be pushing to have bigger involvements in Tuesday's game, particularly with the latter two players having both sat out the defeat to Luton.

Bennett came on as a late substitute for the Lions, whilst George Saville also made his return from injury after missing Northern Ireland's FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifier in Bulgaria.

Other than the aforementioned injury concerns, Rowett has a fully fit squad to choose from ahead of the trip to Bramall Lane and will be hoping that his side can pull of an unlikely result on the road.

Millwall previously boasted a seven match unbeaten run in the league, which underlines their credentials as potential dark horses for a play-off place, however their performance on Saturday left a lot to be desired.

A point would be a superb result against a Sheffield United side that are on a high, however many will expect that the Lions will have their backs against the wall for much of the contest.
