Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping that Leeds United can build on Saturday’s encouraging win over Fulham this evening as his side welcome Luton Town to Elland Road.
Leeds enter the midweek round of fixtures in a strong position in the race for automatic promotion, but, in Luton, they face a very different task to the one they overcame on Saturday, with Nathan Jones’ side battling relegation.
So, how is Bielsa’s side shaping up ahead of this evening? We take a look at the team news and those that will be missing this evening…
Forshaw will be missing the evening and for the rest of the season.
The midfielder has had hip surgery and is targeting a return to action for 2020/21.
Augustin hasn’t been seen since Leeds restarted their season in Cardiff earlier this month.
He’s got troublesome hamstrings and is another doubt for tonight.
Sensible money would be on him missing out once more.
Hernandez made a stunning comeback against Fulham over the weekend, producing a classy assist to make it 3-0.
He’s still edging his way back to 100% following a hamstring injury, but he’s in contention this evening and looking to help Leeds to back-to-back victories.
It’s unclear if he will be in the starting XI yet.
Kiko Casilla (suspended)
Casilla is still serving a suspension and will not return until Leeds host Barnsley next month.
Illan Meslier will continue in goal.
