Leeds United head to Griffin Park to take on Brentford this evening in what is a must-win game for Marcelo Bielsa's side.

The Whites are clinging on to second place with goal difference, following their 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, coupled with Fulham's 1-0 win over Blackburn at the weekend.

A defeat at Griffin Park would see United slip as low as fifth by the end of Wednesday evening, leaving Marcelo Bielsa's men in their lowest league position for almost two years.

Some Leeds fans have been crying out for Marcelo Bielsa to make a handful but it is likely there will only be one or two changes to Tuesday's line-up.

Two positive results this week against Brentford and Bristol City would certainly change the supporter's attitude towards their side's promotion hopes.

Ahead of another crucial fixture for Leeds, we have all the injury news for the trip to Brentford.

Adam Forshaw is set to continue to miss the trip to the capital and some fans may be forgiven for wondering when they will ever see 28-year-old again.

The midfielder hasn't featured for the Whites since September's defeat to Charlton Athletic and has struggled to recover from an ongoing hip injury, unsurprisingly he won't be fit for tonight's clash with the Bees.

Tyler Roberts is another player who will miss Leeds' last-ever trip to Griffin Park after the 21-year-old took a 'big kick' to the calf in Saturday's defeat at Forest.

Although the forward carried on following the kick, he has managed not to injure himself seriously and will miss the Brentford game as a precaution due to bruising on the calf.

Can you name the season when these 14 Leeds United images were taken?

One huge boost for the Whites is the return of Kalvin Phillips who has finished serving his three-match ban for the red card he received at Queens Park Rangers last month.

Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that Phillips will start in his favoured defensive midfield role, meaning Ben White will return to partner Liam Cooper in defence for the Whites.

Although Leeds haven't had frequent trips to Griffin Park in their history, they have failed to win there in all five meetings in West London since Brentford's promotion to the Championship.

A win for the Whites would be a real boost and could go a long way in their promotion push, whilst a defeat would risk leaving players even lower on confidence and supporters downbeat heading into the weekend.
