Ipswich Town and Coventry City face off this weekend in a crunch tie that is bound to have huge ramifications for both sides, as they chase Championship promotion into the final few weeks of the League One campaign.

The Tractor Boys have seen their chances of automatic promotion fade away over the past few weeks after recording just one win in their last five league outings, thus seeing the pressure pile onto the shoulders of the club's beleaguered manager Paul Lambert.

Meanwhile, the Sky Blues will be seeking to increase their lead at the top of the league standings over Rotherham United to five points this weekend as Mark Robins and his charges seek to close in on promotion.

From the East Anglian side's perspective, Lambert will be pleased to be able to welcome back winger Danny Rowe for this weekend's clashm, with the tricky attacker having been sidelined back in December last year.

In addition to Rowe, Lambert is also hopeful over the fitness of midfield duo Cole Skuse and Emyr Huws as he seeks to bring key personnel back into the first team fold for the season run in.

One man who is expected to miss out for the Tractor Boys this weekend however is Kane Vincent-Young, with the important defender still recovering from an operation he had on a groin injury last November, whilst Messrs Kayden Jackson and Flynn Downes continue to run down their respective suspensions.

Meanwhile, a victory for the home side at Portman Road this weekend could see them close the deficit on the top six to just three points as they seek to make every game count during the last few weeks of the campaign.
