Tonight sees Charlton Athletic welcome promotion chasing Fulham in what is a crucial game at both ends of the table.

Lee Bowyer is looking to pull his side further clear of the relegation battle, currently sat just five points clear of the drop zone, whilst Fulham could move to within just a point of the automatic promotion places.

It is also a match that sees two Charlton icons reunite at The Valley with both Bowyer and Parker enjoying successful spells with the Addicks. In fact both graduated through the youth system at the club.

There was plenty of positive injury news for the home fans to feel happy about in the build up to this one too with Josh Cullen and Jake Forster-Caskey possibly returning to the matchday squad.

Saturday saw Jonny Williams, Erhun Oztumer and Tomer Hemed return to contention and it could not have come at a better time either with Connor Gallagher recently departing for Swansea City.

Bowyer is also hoping that both Lyle Taylor and Sam Field could be involved in some capacity after the duo returned to training, although they will be without Chuks Aneke, Macauley Bonne and George Lapslie.

It also looked like Lewis Page was slowly returning to full fitness as well until he was withdrawn from a reserve match on Wednesday afternoon with just 12 minutes played, casting doubts over his future again.

They are not the only ones with continued problems, however, with Fulham set to be without Aleksandar Mitrovic and Aboubakar Kamara again.
