Charlton Athletic return to their Sky Bet Championship schedule this Saturday at The Valley, as the Addicks host West Bromwich Albion for the second weekend in succession.

Lee Bowyer's side will want to have their revenge on the Baggies, who dumped Charlton out of the FA Cup last weekend with a 1-0 win in south London in the third round of the competition.

Currently sitting in 19th place in the table, Charlton are looking for the points to push them up the standings, and take on a West Brom side who have not won in their last four league games.

Ahead of the big game, we have of the latest Charlton news right here.

Lee Bowyer has provided an important update on the players who are nearing a return from injury at the club ahead of this weekend's clash.

Chuks Aneke is back in training. The 26-year-old has been missing since November, after suffering a hamstring injury against Preston North End. Initially due to return to the first-team squad in December, the forward then suffered a further setback in training to a different muscle, delaying his return.

Jake Forster-Caskey has been missing since October's 2-1 defeat against Bristol City at Ashton Gate with a hamstring injury. The 25-year-old has also returned to full training and could make the bench on Saturday.

Jonny Williams and Tomer Hemed returned to the matchday squad last weekend in the FA Cup, and both look poised to do the same again against West Bromwich Albion.

Josh Cullen and Erhun Oztumer are both back running but not yet in full training after recovering from ankle injuries.

Macauley Bonne, Sam Field, Beram Kayal, George Lapslie, Lewis Page and Ben Amos are all definitely out. Lyle Taylor is also likely to be missing for the Addicks.
