Charlton Athletic will have the wind in their sails as they head into this weekend's clash with Blackburn Rovers at The Valley.

Lee Bowyer's men saw off promotion hopefuls Nottingham Forest away from home on Tuesday night with Lyle Taylor's strike enough to earn them a 1-0 win and they will be confident of a similar result against Rovers in front of a packed out Valley.

They currently sit in 19th place, however, and remain in contention for a place in the dreaded end of season relegation battle so focus will need to be retained in this replay of the opening day.

Charlton won that one 2-1 so expect Tony Mowbray and his men to be seeking revenge.

But how are The Addicks looking on the injury front ahead of this one?

Considering the struggles they have had at times this season, fans will be hard-pushed to complain too much about their current predicament.

Lyle Taylor, Macauley Bonne, Jonny Williams and Erhun Oztumer are all now back to full fitness, providing them with much-needed reinforcements in attack.

January recruit Andre Green was left out of their midweek clash with Forest as a precaution and remains a doubt for this weekend's match-up as well, with Bowyer waiting on the results of his scan.

QUIZ: Are these 15 ex-Charlton players still playing – yes or no?

Sam Field is the only other prominent first team figure likely to be missing. He has recently been visited by parent club West Brom's doctor with the club expected to be clearer of this situation by the end of play on Friday.

However, there is no doubt that Bowyer will be pleased with the players at his disposal ahead of this one given recent struggles.
