Cardiff City travel to Carlisle United tonight in an FA Cup Third Round replay.

Neil Harris side had to come from two goals down to salvage a replay at Brunton Park tonight, with goals from Calum Paterson and Gavin Whyte sparing his blushes.

A 0-0 draw in the Welsh derby followed last Sunday, and tonight Cardiff will make the long-haul trip up to Carlisle, to determine who will progress into the Fourth Round of the FA Cup, where a trip to Reading awaits them.

Cardiff have several first-team players ruled out of tonight's game; Isaac Vassell, Joe Ralls and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing.

The trio missed the game against Swansea last Sunday and are set to miss tonight's fixture too.

Mendez-Laing has missed the last three now after coming off in the first-half of Cardiff's win against Sheffield Wednesday last month with a suspected thigh injury, and looks set to miss the remainder of the season for Cardiff.

Vassell meanwhile has been out of action since August with a thigh problem, but is thought to be closing in on a return to action.

And Ralls is ruled out with a broken hand - the midfielder suffered the unfortunate injury last month, and is expected to miss the rest of January.

It'll be a huge task for Cardiff tonight. Carlisle will be right up for the visit of the Welsh side, and a loss for them would put a lot of eyes on Harris.
