Norwich City can strengthen their grip at the top of the Sky Bet Championship this evening with a win against Huddersfield Town putting them eight points clear of Watford.
The Canaries look more than a safe bet for a top-two spot now and it’s all about trying to seal the title in style now.
Indeed, with the Hornets only drawing at Middlesbrough on Monday afternoon the Canaries have a chance to extend their lead further at the summit and that is what Daniel Farke will be urging his players to do against a Huddersfield side looking to get mathematically safe as quickly as possible.
With that said, the latest team news for the Yellows is as follows…
Max Aarons and Dimitris Giannoulis are both back available after missing the draw against Preston North End on Good Friday, whilst Oliver Skipp should be ready to start from the off once more with Daniel Farke confirming as such.
Farke said he was ‘carefully optimistic’ that Emi Buendia will get over a knock to be available this evening, though neither Adam Idah or Lukas Rupp are yet ready to feature with Farke suggesting the week after the game with Derby as an opening for them to be back amongst it.
Ben Gibson and Christoph Zimmermann are also missing with injury, so Andrew Omobamidele could get another chance to show what talent he has.
Possible XI: (4-2-3-1) Krul; Aarons, Hanley, Omobamidele, Giannoulis; McLean, Skipp; Cantwell, Dowell, Buendia; Pukki.
