Millwall welcome Derby County to the Den this afternoon hoping to claim a sixth win in eight Championship games and close the gap on the top six.

Despite the recent news about another Rams takeover bid, Wayne Rooney will want his squad fully focussed on getting a result in south London – having now gone six games without a win and lost two on the bounce.

Their defeat to Barnsley in midweek was a particularly sore one as victory would've seen them move off the bottom of the Championship for the first time since their points deduction.

As it is they're now seven points adrift of safety and travel to face a Millwall side high in confidence.

Ahead of the second-tier clash at the Den this afternoon, we've highlighted all the early team news...

It's good news for the hosts, as Gary Rowett has nearly a full squad available for the Rams' visit.

Midfielder George Evans is still recovering from the calf strain that kept him out against Reading in midweek and will be absent once again this afternoon.

Mason Bennett returned against the Royals, featuring from the bench, and will be fit to feature against his former club today while another ex-Ram, Scott Malone, could be in line to start after being a substitute on Tuesday evening.

Rowett faces an interesting decision at right wing-back, with Danny McNamara fit but Ryan Leonard making the position his own in recent weeks.

Rooney, meanwhile, will be without playmaker Ravel Morrison as he must serve a one-match ban after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Barnsley in midweek.

Key midfielder Graeme Shinnie is back available, however, having been suspended for the match against the Tykes.

Long-term absentee Krystian Bielik will be missing. He is continuing to recover from his ACL injury but is not yet ready to return to full training.
