Huddersfield Town boss Danny Cowley has been rewarded for guiding the Terriers on a seven-match unbeaten run by winning the Championship Manager of the Month award for October.

Cowley arrived at the John Smith’s Stadium with Town in woeful form and facing up to another relegation battle, but this time with the club at risk of dropping back into League One.

However, the former Lincoln boss, alongside his brother Nicky, has sparked Town into life, with the side currently on a seven-match unbeaten run.

That included three wins and two draws in October, which has landed Cowley the Manager of the Month award.
